Huxtaburger Highgate

The burgers are good here with great flavour and fresh ingredients, although the beef patties could do with more char flavour. The chips are also very good and are offered with chicken salt but are quite expensive.The venue itself isn't air conditioned (at least not when I went) so it can get hot inside. It can also get pretty busy, with a line developing making it potentially difficult to find a seat let alone in comfort.

Really tasty burgers, not greasy and good flavours. Crunchy chips and good onion rings. Staff were very helpful last night when our internet order didn't come through, really happy with the service.

OMG just tried the new hot and spicy chicken range in the tenders, so good! Level 3 I think called abandon all hope - it was the perfect level of spiciness without being overbearing and the sauce its served with is soooo good. House burger sauce or something? Absolutely delicious.Please make this hot and spicy option a permanent fixture on the menu! I'll be back next weekend to get my dose along with a cheezus on the side thanks! 100% recommend.

I am currently sitting out the front of my house on a cold night eating your burger. Tonight I had a good friends 32nd birthday and after a fun time I realised it was time head home. The only issue was my partner had the keys to our house and was at the football. So before ordering an Uber i decided to pop into your establishment to see if you offered any suitable options for a sad and sorry gluten free girl. Well my delight when I saw at the bottom of the menu, gluten free buns..: I asked if the chick pea burger was gluten free with the bun and the delightful young man at the counter said he would check for me. Well anyway I just had a 35 minute Uber ride home where I didn’t dare touch the food for fear of being rude and getting a bad rating. I am sitting on my front porch waiting for my partner with the keys and this burger has compelled me to write this review. It is somehow still warm and absolute perfection. Just the right amount of spice that I am feeling warmed up (currently 13 degrees) but not so Spicy that I fear for my digestive system. The gluten free bun was soft and luxuriously textured, the pickles perfectly tangy and the patty just delicious. I am delighted to have discovered your existence this evening, but also saddened by the distance between us. Until we meet again

Had lunch there with my mum the service was excellent great staff.The burger I ordered was quickly cooked and meat was nice and the sauce made the burger with the cheese..My mum had the Megan and she loved it.Great restaurant to try new burgers!Five stars.

Expensive for what you get. I had the Rachel with grilled chicken, chips with gravy and peach ice tea, which totally around $30. Somehow half of my burger was bland and the other half was good, maybe the condiments weren’t spread correctly? Gravy on the chips was lumpy, although the portion was good.Was going to give 3 stars but the guy working there was quite rude to a delivery driver - not on!

Been standing at the counter for over 10mins. Noone serving me. Not busy. Girls are out the back talking about their weekend plans and not checking counter..... just wow

100% recommend this joint, heard about it from my friends who love their REAL burgers" and finally decided to give it a try last weekend. Definitely wasn't disappointed! Decided to go for two of the plain janes

Amazing burgers, loved the Theo. Perfect for a hangover :DTenders are juicy and go perfect with siracha mayo. Great service from the staff. Got my order within 20 minutes as it was a rush period. I was recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be dining in again. Keep up the great work.
